Ranger Tech was at the South Florida .NET Code Camp

On Saturday, February 22nd, Ranger Technical Resources (www.rangertech.com) attended the South Florida .NET Code Camp (www.fladotnet.com/codecamp) at Nova Southeastern University as a Silver Sponsor. With over 1,100 IT Professionals in attendance, the event was a huge success. From Windows 8 to SharePoint 2013, Microsoft technologies were the highlight as over 70 local leaders spoke about their areas of expertise. It was wonderful to see so many creative technology-focused enthusiasts come together to share, learn, and network.

While all of the tech-talk was fun and exciting, we were happy that 12 programmers wanted to sign up to volunteer with Ranger Good Works (www.rangergoodworks.org) and teach the 4th and 5th grade students in the Ranger Super Coders Club (www.rangercoders.com) more about computer science. We started this initiative shortly after being inspired by Code.org’s Hour of Code™ and recognizing the need to introduce today’s youth to the fundamentals of programming.
