PC Professor Job Fair Recap

Ranger Technical Resources has a strong IT foundation, and in order to stay atop of the ever-changing Tech Community, our Talent Acquisition team leaders stay active and informed by attending events and meet-ups to strengthen their skills and expand their networks.

On May 15, 2014, Ranger Technical Resources joined PC Professor and 15 other local organizations to hold a technology-focused job fair. During the event, our team met with many professionals in the IT industry who were either looking for new employment or recently had completed a certification class with PC Professor and were eager to land a position that could utilize their new skills. Throughout the day, hundreds of people had the opportunity to discuss their background, goals, and expectations with several companies that varied in size. With organizations such as The Seminole Hard Rock Casino and O2 Media involved, it was great to see our industry connect with local talent.

Ranger Technical Resources believes events like these help bridge the gap between IT professionals searching for new career opportunities and local companies searching for viable talent. In this age when most people use social media and technology to interface there is still nothing better than making those “face to face” connections.
